This class blends demonstration and hands-on learning. Working in pairs, guests will learn how to build and maintain a sourdough starter while preparing their own loaf of whole wheat sourdough from start to finish. You'll measure and weigh ingredients, mix dough, practice stretch-and-fold techniques, and shape your loaf for fermentation. Each guest will take home their own prepared loaf to complete the final proofing and baking process at home using the instructions provided in class.

You'll also learn the basics of homemade strawberry jam and leave with a jar to enjoy at home. Whether you're new to sourdough or looking to build on your skills, this class offers the perfect introduction to the process.

You'll go home with:

🥖 A prepared loaf of whole wheat sourdough ready for final proofing and baking at home
🍓 A jar of homemade strawberry jam
🌾 A portion of Chef Jessica's sourdough starter to keep your bread journey going

Class Details:
