Tyson Long

Meet Chef Tyson

Chef Tyson Long is a Certified Executive Chef with more than 15 years of professional kitchen experience. His career includes serving as Executive Chef at Winslow’s Home in St. Louis and six years as Executive Chef and Partner at Sugarfire Smokehouse.

Today, Tyson teaches culinary arts at Mascoutah High School and brings his experience and approachable teaching style to the Toast & Table kitchen. His classes are designed to help home cooks build skills, learn new techniques, and feel more confident in the kitchen.

Jessica Mode

Meet Chef Jessica

Jessica Mode is a self-taught home cook turned culinary school graduate with a passion for making food from scratch and teaching others to do the same. After graduating from the Italian Culinary Institute, she spent years developing and testing recipes designed to help home cooks build confidence in the kitchen.

Through her blog, Homebody Eats, Jessica shares approachable techniques and step-by-step guidance for everything from sourdough bread to homemade pasta. At Toast & Table, she brings that same practical, encouraging approach to her classes.
