Some people enjoy eating broccoli stalks along with the florets which is fantastic! However, if you don't enjoy steamed/roasted broccoli stalks or have a recipe where you're only using the florets, you don't have to toss the stalk!
Save it in the refrigerator for another day. Finely chop the broccoli stalk to use in casseroles, soups, skillets which is a good way to sneak in those veggies. Our personal favorite way to use up the stalks? Slice them into 'discs' and toss them in with a stir fry!
