About Us
Toast & Table is O'Fallon's happy place for home cooks — a local kitchen store and teaching kitchen where food, community, and creativity come together. We carry the tools that make great cooking possible, and we host hands-on cooking classes that sell out the day they're listed. Our customers don't just shop here — they come back, they bring friends, and they tell us we've inspired them to cook things they never thought they could.
That last part is our favorite.
The Role
We're looking for a Part-Time Retail Sales Manager who can run the floor with confidence, warmth, and a genuine love for all things culinary. This role is perfect for someone who thrives working independently, takes pride in a well-run store, and lights up when a customer finds exactly the right pan.

Create and maintain shift schedules, checklists, and SOPs
Receive and process incoming orders and manage outgoing shipments

Purchase and manage retail and shipping supplies

Maintain a welcoming, organized, and beautifully merchandised store environment
What We're Looking For
Minimum 2 years of retail experience
Minimum 1 year of retail management experience
A genuine passion for kitchen tools, cookware, bakeware, and all things culinary
Strong communication and leadership skills
Comfortable working independently and making good decisions on the fly
Flexible availability, including most Saturdays
Someone who finds as much joy in inspiring a customer as they do in closing a sale
Bonus Points
Experience in a specialty retail or culinary environment
Familiarity with kitchen brands and products
A love of cooking (you don't have to be a chef — just someone who gets it)
The Perks
A store environment unlike any other — retail and teaching kitchen under one roof
A loyal, passionate customer base who genuinely loves this place
A supportive ownership team that invests in its people
Employee discount on store merchandise
The satisfaction of working somewhere that actually inspires people every day
Sound like you? We'd love to hear from you.
